Our chief designer, Jan Eickhoff, has collaborated with Frederik Friederichs (Light Bureau) to develop a unique lamp that meets the highest standards of usability, aesthetics, and quality of craftsmanship and technology. The “Deichmanske” desk lamp is characterized by its minimalist design, intuitive controls, excellent light quality in terms of both appearance and color rendering (CRI 98), and an effective anti-glare system. Thanks to its unique design, it is particularly well-suited for reading, writing, working on a computer, and other desktop activities that require full concentration. Here, the designer has drawn on his many years of experience in developing high-quality specialty lighting for museum display cases.
Since the “Deichmanske” lamp is used in public library areas with heavy foot traffic, its construction is solid and durable, yet discreet and clean, and features a minimal number of components. With the exception of a few electronic parts, the entire product is manufactured and assembled in Germany, with a focus on sustainability and local and global responsibility.
