R-SL-16 cube connector

The R-SL-16 modular lighting system has long been established as the gold standard in display case and exhibition lighting. With the new R-SL-16 cube connector, we’re opening up a new dimension of creative freedom for lighting designers.

The Cube Connector is a compact yet extremely versatile addition to the existing system. It is available in three versions—Y, T, and L—and enables connections along multiple axes (X, Y, and Z).

This allows for the creation of three-dimensional structures: from minimalist cubes to horizontal T-frames to vertical constructions with lateral branches. The Cube Connector opens up new possibilities for lighting installations that are both functional and aesthetically sophisticated.

One of the standout features of the R-SL-16 system is its ability to combine linear lighting and spot accent lighting within a single profile (Ø16 mm).

• Linear lighting: With high-quality optical inserts, the system offers four precise beam angles (22°–55°), with a choice of soft or slightly sharper light distribution—depending on the object and room requirements.
• Accent lighting: C1-mini-R-SL spots can be flexibly integrated along the profile. These are individually dimmable and specifically designed for sophisticated exhibition lighting.

The mini spots are compatible with a wide range of accessories from the C1-mini series—including interchangeable optics, light shields, honeycomb grids, louvres, and filters. A solution that has proven particularly effective for museum and exhibition designers.

• Two electrical circuits (12V + 24V) within the profile allow for independent control of linear and spot lighting.
• Excellent color rendering (CRI ~97) guarantees true-to-life and brilliant illumination—crucial in museum settings.
• Sleek, unobtrusive design: The profile, which is only 16 mm thick, can be discreetly integrated without disrupting the architecture.
