C1-nano
the smallest spotlight from cf® – so far
When we first began to explore how far the miniaturisation of professional museum lighting could be taken, we did not know exactly where this path would lead us. One thing was clear from the outset: it would be a long, perhaps endless, and certainly exciting journey. The latest milestone on this journey is the C1-nano – an even smaller spotlight with a head diameter of only 12 mm.
At first glance, such a small light may seem like an experiment. Yet even at this scale it delivers all the parameters we consider essential: maximum colour rendering, minimal light-damage potential, reliable performance, and precise light control.
The C1-nano is designed to remain unobtrusive. In a showcase or exhibition it almost disappears, leaving full space to the object on display. At the same time, it works with the same accessories and optics as its larger siblings. With a power of 1W, it achieves around 74 lm at 3000K (with a standard optic)
We are launching this new development in two versions: -VL and -S. Further variants are already in progress – because we know that the best projects demand the full spectrum of possibilities, sometimes even the seemingly impossible.
Founder and designer Jan Eickhoff sums it up simply:
“Our aim was to create a minimal light without compromise – functional, elegant, and almost invisible. Visually it stays in the background, but it allows the exhibit to shine and all details to emerge. It is a challenge – as always.”
