Workplace luminaire - Lib

Exclusively developed for „Deichman Bjørvika“ in Oslo, we present the final implementation of a bespoke workplace luminaire.

Known as „Deichmanske“, is now part of our product portfolio under the name „Lib“.

Since 2020, we have worked closely with Frederik Friederichs (Light Bureau) to develop a distinctive luminaire that meets high standards of ergonomics, technical precision and build quality. The result is Lib – a robust, bar-shaped task light designed for longevity. Crafted from a solid aluminium profile, it integrates seamlessly into the existing infrastructure.

From the outset, resilience was central to the development process. The components are protected yet fully replaceable. Designed for long-term maintenance rather than replacement, Lib is built to withstand intensive public use. It provides optimal lighting conditions for focused reading and work.
